Run Day - Friday May 31, 2024
This 1971 Buick Riviera GS is a two-owner California car since new! A Miss Belle Carroll purchased this car January 22nd, 1971 in Stockton, California, and lovingly cared for it for over 30 years. In the early 2000s, she sold the car locally to a Mr. Grant Ecker who treasured this GS for another 20 years. Being a California car its entire life, this vehicle has remained in truly excellent condition. It has been repainted in its factory-correct color of Copper Mist–which is absolutely radiant. The car retains its original Sandalwood deluxe vinyl interior and the original drivetrain (which consists of a 330hp 455 4-barrel V8 with a specially tuned Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission. This awesome boat-tail is also highly optioned, featuring factory air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering, disc-front power brakes, power windows, power split-bench front seat, remote left-hand mirror, tilt steering wheel, and being a GS, it also has dual exhausts, a heavy-duty suspension, posi-track rear end, and factory chrome 5-spoke wheels. The original owner's manual, original keys, protect-o-plate, and many vintage registrations are included with the sale. This is one you will be proud to own!
